RISO Perfect Binder — an automated perfect-binding module designed for fast, stable production of books and brochures. Ideal for print shops, educational institutions, offices, and publishers: up to 62 A4 books (duplex printing, up to 100 pages) per hour. Works with various spine thicknesses and automatically trims the cover to the exact size, delivering a neat, professional result. Precise sheet alignment before gluing and a pressure glue roller increase binding strength while reducing waste and energy use compared to hot glue tanks. Software supports PDF and Microsoft Office, spine printing, and layout preview.​

RISO Perfect Binder is a practical solution for organizations that produce a lot of multi-page materials and want true “book-quality” results without excessive manual work. The module automates the key steps: feeding, accurate block forming, glue application, pressure fixing, and trimming the cover to the actual thickness of the book. As a result, you get a straight spine, reliable bonding, and a presentable finished book.

The system is built for intensive workloads: up to 62 A4 books per hour with 100 duplex pages, which is ideal for textbooks, reports, manuals, catalogs, and corporate materials. Support for a thickness range from 1.5 mm to 30 mm (approximately 15–300 sheets) provides flexibility—from thin brochures to thicker publications.

Another strong advantage is efficiency and process stability: the glue roller helps reduce energy consumption and waste, while precise sheet registration before bonding ensures clean edges and accurate page alignment. Integrated software with Adobe PDF and Microsoft Office support simplifies cover preparation, enables spine printing, and allows quick preview of the final layout before production.

  • *1: Hourly speed is calculated based on the time required to complete binding from the 5th to the 10th book under the following conditions: paper type — IJ paper, paper weight — standard, resolution — 300 dpi.
  • *2: Cover length varies depending on the thickness of the page block. Paper shorter than the inner pages cannot be used.
  • *3: If the book thickness (spine) is 20 mm or more, paper weight of 105 g/m² or higher is recommended.
  • *4: When using ideal IJ paper with a weight of 85 g/m².
  • *5: 165 pages per minute when connected to the printer and binding A4 sheets (landscape orientation).
